What you need for SSW (i)
Skills test
A test for the field you want to work in. Some tests are held only in certain countries or in Japan, so we check the schedule with you.
A job offer
An employment contract with a Japanese company in your field, with the same pay as Japanese workers.
Basic conditions
Age 18 or over, good health, and a valid passport.

Certificate of Eligibility
We prepare the documents for the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and submit them to the Immigration Services Agency. This often takes 1–3 months.

Visa at the embassy
With the COE, you apply for your visa at the Embassy of Japan that covers your country. We help you prepare.

Arrival in Japan
You receive your residence card at the airport and our life-support team welcomes you.
